Kính thưa các Ban Hướng Dẫn Gia Đình Phật Tử Việt Nam trên khắp hải ngoại, thế giới,
Kính gửi quý Ban Hướng Dẫn cấp Châu Lục, Quốc Gia, các Ban Hướng Dẫn cấp Miền, quý Ban Chấp Hành Cựu Huynh Trưởng, quý vị Bảo Trợ, Huynh Trưởng và Đoàn Sinh các cấp Gia Đình Phật Tử, cùng quý Phụ Huynh và Đồng Hương gần xa,
Trong không khí hân hoan đón mừng Xuân về, mùa của đoàn tụ, hy vọng và an lạc. Trong cương vị Trưởng Ban, thay mặt Ban Hướng Dẫn Gia Đình Phật Tử Việt Nam tại Hoa Kỳ, chúng con thành kính dâng lời đảnh lễ Chư Tôn Đức Giáo Phẩm, quý Tăng Ni đã luôn gia hộ, giáo giới và đồng hành cùng tổ chức Gia Đình Phật Tử trong suốt hành trình gìn giữ ánh sáng Phật pháp. Đồng thời, chúng tôi xin trân trọng gửi đến toàn thể anh chị em áo lam, quý Phụ Huynh cũng như Đồng Hương lời chúc mừng năm mới an lành, thịnh vượng và tràn đầy phước báu.
Mỗi độ Xuân sang, lòng người Việt lại bồi hồi nhớ về cội nguồn, về những giá trị truyền thống dân tộc và cũng là dịp để chúng ta tri ân những người đã hy sinh và gắn bó vì sự tồn vong của Phật pháp và dân tộc. Hết một năm qua, Gia Đình Phật Tử Việt Nam tại Hoa Kỳ và khắp nơi đã trải qua không ít thử thách, từ những ảnh hưởng hậu đại dịch Covid-19 cho đến sự xáo trộn trong đời sống xã hội Hoa Kỳ, vốn tác động không nhỏ đến sự ổn định của cộng đồng Áo Lam. Tuy vậy, chính nhờ sự đồng lòng, ý chí và tinh thần kiên định của tất cả chúng ta mà tổ chức vẫn tiếp tục vững bước, trở thành một biểu tượng sống động của sự hòa hợp, trí tuệ và từ bi.
Chúng con thành tâm tri ân sự giáo dưỡng của Giáo Hội, của các Tăng Đoàn Phật Giáo Việt Nam trên toàn thế giới, những người đã không ngừng nâng đỡ và là điểm tựa tinh thần vững chắc cho Gia Đình Phật Tử. Chính sự từ bi, trí tuệ và sự bảo bọc của quý ngài đã là nguồn động lực to lớn, giúp chúng con giữ vững niềm tin, hoàn thành sứ mệnh hoằng pháp lợi sinh.
Bên cạnh đó, không thể không nhắc đến sự hỗ trợ vô giá từ quý vị phụ huynh, đồng hương, và những nhà bảo trợ âm thầm đứng phía sau. Trong những giai đoạn khó khăn nhất, chính sự nâng đỡ và lòng yêu thương của quý vị đã giúp Gia Đình Phật Tử vượt qua thử thách, từ những ngày đầu lưu vong sau biến cố 1975 cho đến hôm nay. Quý vị chính là minh chứng sống động cho tinh thần đoàn kết, gắn bó của cộng đồng người Việt nơi xứ người, giúp tổ chức không những duy trì mà còn phát triển, thích nghi với những đổi thay của thời đại.
Nhìn lại hành trình gần tám thập kỷ kể từ ngày Gia Đình Phật Tử ra đời, chúng ta càng thêm trân trọng những hy sinh của các thế hệ đi trước. Họ đã cống hiến cả tâm huyết và lý tưởng để duy trì ánh sáng Phật pháp trong lòng người trẻ, từ những ngày đầu gian khó tại quê hương Việt Nam, qua thời kỳ chiến tranh, và sau đó là cuộc sống đầy thử thách nơi hải ngoại. Những giá trị ấy vẫn bất diệt, như ngọn đèn tâm sáng mãi trong mỗi đoàn sinh, mỗi Huynh Trưởng.
Bước sang năm mới, chúng tôi mong rằng toàn thể anh chị em áo lam, cùng quý Phụ Huynh, Đồng Hương sẽ tiếp tục đồng lòng, chung sức. Chính sự gắn kết này là chìa khóa để vượt qua mọi thử thách hiện tại, từ những khó khăn kinh tế, xã hội đến việc giữ gìn và phát huy bản sắc văn hóa Phật giáo Việt Nam nơi đất khách. Đây cũng là dịp để chúng ta củng cố tinh thần Tinh Tấn – Bi – Trí – Dũng, làm kim chỉ nam cho mọi hành động.
Xuân về, là thời khắc giao mùa đồng thời nhắc nhở đến sự hồi sinh và hy vọng. Mong rằng mỗi gia đình trong cộng đồng Lam viên chúng ta sẽ là một vườn xuân rực rỡ, nơi Phật pháp thấm nhuần, nơi tình yêu thương và sự an lạc lan tỏa. Chúng con/chúng tôi nguyện cầu Chư Phật gia hộ để Gia Đình Phật Tử Việt Nam tại Hoa Kỳ và khắp nơi mãi là mái nhà ấm áp, chở che và dìu dắt biết bao thế hệ Áo Lam tiếp tục hành trình hoằng pháp và giữ gìn văn hóa dân tộc.
Kính chúc Chư Tôn Đức, quý Huynh Trưởng, Đoàn Sinh, quý vị Phụ Huynh và Đồng Hương một năm mới: Thân tâm thường an lạc – Vạn sự cát tường – Tinh tấn không ngừng – Thành tựu viên mãn.

Esteemed Leadership Committees of Vietnamese Buddhist Youth Associations across the world,
Dear Continental, National, and Regional Leadership Committees, Former Leaders’ Committees, Sponsors, Leaders, Members of all levels in the Vietnamese Buddhist Youth Association, as well as Parents and Vietnamese Compatriots near and far,
In the joyful atmosphere of welcoming the Spring—a season of reunion, hope, and peace—we, in the position of Chairperson, on behalf of the Leadership Committee of the Vietnamese Buddhist Youth Association in the United States, humbly offer our deepest reverence to the Venerable Sangha Members. We sincerely thank the monastics who have continuously supported, guided, and accompanied our organization in preserving the light of the Dharma. At the same time, we respectfully extend our heartfelt New Year wishes for peace, prosperity, and abundant blessings to all members of the Lam Family (Buddhist Youth), parents, and Vietnamese compatriots.
With each Spring, the hearts of Vietnamese people are stirred, recalling their roots and traditional values. It is also a time for us to express gratitude to those who have sacrificed and devoted themselves to the survival of Buddhism and the nation. Over the past year, the Vietnamese Buddhist Youth Association in the United States and globally has faced numerous challenges, from the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic to the social upheavals in American society, which have significantly impacted the stability of the Lam Family community. However, thanks to our collective determination, solidarity, and steadfast spirit, our organization has continued to progress, becoming a vibrant symbol of harmony, wisdom, and compassion.
We sincerely express our gratitude for the teachings and guidance of the Sangha and Vietnamese Buddhist congregations worldwide. Their compassion, wisdom, and protection have been a tremendous source of motivation, enabling us to maintain our faith and fulfill our mission of propagating the Dharma for the benefit of all beings.
Additionally, we cannot fail to acknowledge the invaluable support of parents, compatriots, and silent benefactors who have stood behind us. During the most challenging times, it was their encouragement and love that helped the Vietnamese Buddhist Youth Association overcome difficulties, from the early days of exile after the events of 1975 to the present. They are living evidence of the spirit of solidarity and connection within the Vietnamese community abroad, enabling the organization not only to survive but also to thrive and adapt to the changes of the times.
Looking back on nearly eight decades since the establishment of the Vietnamese Buddhist Youth Association, we deeply value the sacrifices of previous generations. They dedicated their hearts and ideals to preserving the light of the Dharma in the hearts of young people, from the difficult early days in Vietnam, through the war years, and into the challenging lives in exile. These values remain eternal, like a bright lamp illuminating the hearts of every member and leader.
As we step into the New Year, we hope that all members of the Lam Family, along with parents and compatriots, will continue to unite and support one another. This unity is the key to overcoming the current challenges, from economic and social difficulties to the preservation and promotion of Vietnamese Buddhist cultural identity in foreign lands. It is also an opportunity for us to strengthen the spirit of Diligence – Compassion – Wisdom – Courage as the guiding principle for all actions.
Spring marks the transition of seasons and reminds us of renewal and hope. May every family in our Lam community become a radiant spring garden, where the Dharma deeply permeates, and love and peace prevail. We sincerely pray to the Buddhas for their blessings so that the Vietnamese Buddhist Youth Association in the United States and worldwide may remain a warm home that shelters and guides generations of Lam Family members on their journey of Dharma propagation and cultural preservation.
We wish the Venerable Sangha Members, Leaders, Members, Parents, and Compatriots a New Year of:
Peace in body and mind – Fulfillment in all endeavors – Unwavering diligence – Complete achievements.
