TU DƯỠNG BỒ ĐỀ là hành trình thắp sáng nguyện lực Bồ Tát Đạo, không chỉ để phát khởi một lý tưởng mà còn nhằm chuyển hóa tận gốc rễ vô minh, khai mở tuệ giác và từ bi sâu thẳm trong chính mỗi anh chị em huynh trưởng chúng ta. Đó là một hành trình đòi hỏi sự xả thân và tận tụy, như hình ảnh Ngài HUYỀN TRANG, người đã cống hiến trọn đời mình để vượt qua bao thử thách nghiệt ngã, truy cầu ánh sáng của chân lý qua thánh điển Phật giáo. Ngài không học chỉ để hiểu, mà còn để thấy và sống với sự Thấy-Biết Như Thật, một lý tưởng mà bất kỳ hành giả áo Lam nào trên con đường giác ngộ cũng đều hướng đến.
Ý niệm TU DƯỠNG BỒ ĐỀ và tấm gương HUYỀN TRANG được khéo léo khắc họa qua danh xưng trại của Gia Đình Phật Tử Việt Nam tại Úc Đại Lợi – không đơn thuần là khẩu hiệu, mà chính là lời nguyện khởi tâm sâu sắc, khơi dậy trong mỗi thành viên một ý thức trách nhiệm sống động: sống với lý tưởng Bồ Đề, lấy thực hành làm thước đo giá trị của lời nguyện. Trại không phải là nơi dừng chân, mà là điểm xuất phát của một hành trình hướng vào nội tâm và lan tỏa ra bên ngoài, qua từng hành động vị tha, từng nỗ lực vươn lên khỏi những hạn chế của bản ngã.
Danh xưng ấy nhắc nhở rằng, chí nguyện Bồ Tát không nằm trong những điều cao xa huyền ảo, mà được chứng nghiệm trong thực tế đời sống. Đó là khi lòng từ bi của anh chị em chạm đến mọi khổ đau của chúng sinh, và trí tuệ thấu suốt bản chất vô thường, duyên khởi của vạn pháp. Chính sự hòa quyện giữa lòng từ bi và trí tuệ này, giữa lý tưởng và thực tiễn, sẽ làm sáng rõ ý nghĩa sâu xa của việc Tu Dưỡng Bồ Đề hôm nay. Đây vừa là việc gìn giữ một tâm nguyện, vừa là sự chuyển hóa toàn diện, biến thân tâm thành đạo tràng sống động, nơi lý tưởng Bồ Tát được hiện thực hóa trong từng sát-na.

of the Bodhisattva Path
Cultivating Bodhi is a journey of illuminating the profound vow of the Bodhisattva Path, not merely to nurture an ideal but to transform the very roots of ignorance, unlocking the deep wellspring of wisdom and compassion within each of us as Dharma teachers and leaders. It is a path that demands self-sacrifice and unwavering dedication, exemplified by the venerable Master Xuanzang, who devoted his entire life to overcoming countless hardships in pursuit of the light of truth through the sacred scriptures of Buddhism. He did not seek knowledge merely to understand but to see and live in accordance with the True Knowing and True Seeing — an aspiration to which every Dharma practitioner in pursuit of awakening is called to aspire.
The concept of cultivating Bodhi and the noble example of Master Xuanzang are beautifully embodied in the camp’s name of the Vietnamese Buddhist Family in Australia. It is not merely a slogan but a profound call to action, awakening within each member a vibrant sense of responsibility: to live the Bodhi ideal, measuring the value of our vows through practical application. The camp is not a destination but the starting point of a journey — one that turns inward toward self-reflection and outward toward transformative acts of altruism, as we strive to rise beyond the limitations of self-centeredness.
This camp’s name reminds us that the Bodhisattva vow is not a lofty or mystical concept; it is realized in the realities of daily life. It is when our compassion touches the suffering of all sentient beings, and our wisdom perceives the impermanent, interdependent nature of all phenomena. The harmonious union of compassion and wisdom, of idealism and practicality, reveals the profound essence of cultivating Bodhi. It is not merely about preserving a vow but about holistic transformation — turning body and mind into a living temple where the Bodhisattva ideal is actualized in each moment.
