Trong tĩnh lặng của thiên nhiên, giữa sắc xanh của cỏ cây và tiếng gió hòa cùng nhịp thở của đất trời, chúng ta gặp nhau nơi mái nhà Lam thân thương không phải để tìm điều mới lạ bên ngoài, mà để nhận lại điều xưa cũ bên trong. Đường Về Phương Tây là một chuyến du hành, hay hành trình nội tâm trở về miền tịnh độ trong mỗi anh-chị em – nơi niềm tin, trí tuệ và tình thương cùng soi sáng.
Trại Hè ĐỒNG TÂM 26 – GĐPT Hoa Nghiêm, San Diego, vừa là những ngày vui giữa bạn bè, vừa là một pháp hội sống động, nơi mỗi bước chân trên cỏ mềm, mỗi bữa cơm trong tinh thần tri túc, mỗi câu hát, nụ cười… đều trở thành pháp âm nuôi dưỡng thân tâm. Giữa không gian thuần khiết ấy, Lục Hòa vốn là nguyên tắc tổ chức, đồng thời còn là mạch sống nuôi dưỡng mọi tương giao, biến sự hiện diện của mỗi chúng ta thành một đóa hoa góp hương cho vườn Lam chung.
Như lời Phật dạy, Tịnh độ không ở xa xăm phương trời Tây, mà hiển hiện ngay khi tâm không còn ngăn cách. Bởi vậy, “đồng tâm” vừa là chủ đề, nhưng cũng chính là con thuyền đưa chúng ta qua bờ mê chấp, về cõi an vui. Nơi ấy, tình Lam trở thành mạch suối thanh tịnh, chảy qua từng câu chuyện lửa trại, từng phút vui vầy, từng ánh mắt chào nhau giữa rừng bát ngát.
Cầu mong mỗi trại sinh, sau những ngày hội ngộ này, sẽ mang về trong tim một phương trời Tây thanh tịnh của chính mình – để dù giữa dòng đời tất bật, vẫn giữ được hơi thở hòa nhịp cùng đại chúng, vẫn nhớ rằng con đường về Tịnh độ bắt đầu từ giây phút biết thương nhau như một gia đình.
Amid the stillness of nature, beneath the green canopy of trees and the wind breathing in harmony with the earth and sky, we meet again in our beloved Lam home—not to seek something novel outside, but to rediscover what is timeless within. The “Journey to the West” is not merely a voyage outward, but an inner pilgrimage toward the Pure Land within each of us—where faith, wisdom, and compassion shine together.
Đồng Tâm 26 Summer Camp is at once days of joy among friends and a living Dharma assembly, where every step upon the soft grass, every meal shared in the spirit of contentment, every song and smile… becomes a Dharma sound nourishing both body and mind. In this pure space, the Six Harmonies are not only the guiding principles of our gathering, but also the lifeblood of our connections, turning each presence into a blossom adding fragrance to the common Lam garden.
As the Buddha taught, the Pure Land is not some faraway realm in the western skies, but is present whenever the mind is free from separation. Thus, “Đồng Tâm” is not only a theme, but also the very vessel that carries us beyond the shore of delusion and attachment, toward the land of peace and joy. There, the Lam fellowship becomes a clear, gentle stream flowing through each campfire story, each moment of shared laughter, each glance of greeting beneath the vast forest sky.
May every camper, after these days of reunion, carry home within their heart a serene Western Realm of their own—so that even amid the rush of worldly life, they may still keep their breath in harmony with the community, and remember that the path to the Pure Land begins the very moment we learn to love one another as one family.
